- Handling of library materials
According to the terms of use, materials are to be treated carefully. Borrowed books and similar materials must not be used at workplaces at laboratories or dissections. Notes and markings are prohibited. You are liable for damages.
- Interlibrary loan
We offer our users the ability to place interlibary loan orders from your PC at home or at work (enduser-interlibary-loan). For more information please ask the staff at the circulation-desk. Data protection information
To provide automated loan booking the procession of your personal data is necessary pursuant to article 6, section 1a) GDPR by your voluntary permission. The same applies for interlibrary loan and online interlibrary loan.
Your name, address data and e-mail addresses will be used for correspondence and shipments only. The processing of your personal data is limited to the period of use of the inventory and service of the Central Medical Library or to the extend required for the purposes mentioned in the terms of use, respectively (Art.6).
According to article 15 ff. GDPR you have the right of access to, the right to rectify, delete, limit the processing, as well as the right of appeal and data portability of the personal data concerned, against the responsible person of the Central Medical Library
The University Medical Centre AöR. is the controller according to 4(7) GDPR. You can contact the data protection officers at datenschutz@med.ovgu.de or Universitätsklinikum Magdeburg, Datenschutzbeauftragter, Leipziger Straße 44, 39120 Magdeburg. Moreover you have the right of appeal against the commissioner for data protection for the state of Saxony-Anhalt (poststelle@lfd.sachsen-anhalt.de).
